Wi-Fi Guy road trip with a press conference at The Cadillac
Ranch near "Old Route 66" west of Amarillo,
Texas.

running -- e-mailing road reports, interviews and Wi-Fi
gadget reviews back to www.wifi-guy.com ," said

For the first half of the trip The Wi-Fi
Guy will spend six weeks on the roads of the Western
United States, attending street festivals and conventions;
checking out hotels; working from coffee shops; e-mailing
from trains; experimenting with new gadgets; and blogging
an "every man's" opinion of the technology.

the Wi-Fi Guy Website and provided the promotional vehicle
for the trip -- a new, bright orange Ford Expedition

Analysts report that one in every six
Americans who use the Internet now go on-line using
a wireless connect. Wi-Fi is the abbreviation of wireless
fidelity.
