Names Bob Lee to Board of Directors [August
30, 2004]

CITY, Calif., Aug 30, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via
COMTEX/ -- BroadVision, Inc. (BVSN), a global provider
of personalized self-service web applications, today
announced that Bob Lee, former telecom executive with
Pacific Bell, has joined the company's board of directors.
He becomes the ninth member of the BroadVision board.
Lee currently is a business consultant
for leading telecommunications and technology companies.
Previously, Lee was a corporate executive vice president
and president of Business Communications Services, where
he established two new subsidiaries: Pacific Bell Internet
Services and Pacific Bell Network Integration.
During his 26-year career at Pacific
Bell, Lee managed groups in operations, sales and marketing.
As executive vice president of Marketing and Sales,
from 1987 to 1992, he produced revenue growth rates
greater than the overall national telecommunications
market. In 1997, he negotiated the deal with the San
Francisco Giants that resulted in naming their ballpark
"Pacific Bell Park."
Lee is currently a director for two
public companies: Interland, Inc. (INLD), which provides
web hosting for the small and medium business market,
and Emeryville based Netopia (NTPA), which manufactures
and sells DSL internet routers for consumers and small
businesses. He is also on the board of a private company
associated with fiber optics components.
