Names Senior VP for Sales and Marketing; Diane Gongaware
Joins Company's Senior Management Team [June

Inc. (DSLN), a leading nationwide provider of broadband
communications services to businesses, said today that
it has named Diane B. Gongaware to the position of senior
vice president of sales and marketing.
Ms. Gongaware, an experienced high-tech
and telecommunications sales and marketing leader, formally
begins her duties on Monday, June 28, 2004. She comes
to DSL.net from Momentum Technology Partners, where
she was a principal for the consulting firm, which specializes
in interim executive management services for VC/private
equity firms, portfolio companies and corporate ventures.
Her clients in the communications industry have included
software companies in the Internet and VoIP (voice over
Internet protocol) sector.

A former senior vice president of sales
and the Northeast region president for 2nd Century Communications,
Ms. Gongaware also served as vice president of corporate
development, marketing and strategy at Velocita Corporation
and is a former vice president of the enterprise accounts
group at Verizon Corporation (then Bell Atlantic Corporation).
In addition, her background includes vice president
and general manager for the Penn Access Corporation
(now AT&T/Pittsburgh) and various senior positions
at U.S. Sprint Corporation.
Ms. Gongaware succeeds Ray Allieri,
who left DSL.net to become president of Waltham, Mass.-based
CTC Communications Corporation.
