Web@Work's
Task Management: Multi-Tasking Made Easy [March
8, 2004]
PADUCAH,
Ky., Mar 8, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ --
Computer Services, Inc. (CSI)(OTC Pink Sheets: CSVI)
has released a new version of its popular corporate
intranet, CSI Web@Work(R), and the Task Management feature
is proving to be a great organizational tool, enabling
users to post, assign and track the progress of just
about any task.
Task Management is the ultimate personal
assistant. Use it to manage customer follow-up issues,
lost or stolen ATM cards, PC hardware or software issues,
building maintenance, even signing out the company car.
There is no limit to the jobs it can handle.
Task Management becomes operational
very quickly. Within Web@Work, users simply identify
staff members responsible for specific tasks. As personnel
throughout your organization enter requests for assistance,
Web@Work logs the task and automatically assigns ownership
to the right person for follow up.
A simple click allows managers and task
owners to review and prioritize requests. Progress can
be tracked by logging activities related to each task,
and the employee who made the initial request can view
its status from their desktop at anytime.
Completed tasks are dropped from the
active list and archived. The archive is a terrific
resource in itself. It can be used to identify recurring
issues that may need corporate focus and to view the
volume of tasks your staff handles each day.
Other new features include the ability
to create personal "to do" lists; set up mobile
alerts to notify an employee when a task has been assigned
to them; create graphs that display the number of requests
opened or completed within specific dates and much more.
