Microsoft Marketing Lead Joins SWsoft; Kurt Daniel to
Drive Overall Marketing [May 17, 2004]
HERNDON,

software, today announced that former Microsoft marketing
lead, Kurt Daniel, has joined the company as Director
of Marketing to spearhead its global marketing strategy
and programs. The company also invites customers and

reach.

Daniel
is a marketing veteran and has spent the last several
years at Microsoft as a Lead Product Manager in the
Server and Tools Division, managing a high-impact marketing
group for SQL Server, a portfolio of successful Database
and Business Intelligence server products. He helped
grow the business past $1 Billion and was instrumental
in end-to-end SMB and business marketing including partner
development, competitive strategy and product planning.

Before
Microsoft he was a general management consultant in
Business Strategy, Operations and Marketing for ATKearney
