Selects Rodopi Software for Satellite Broadband and
VoIP Services [October 12, 2004]
Rodopi’s
OSS software slated to provide automated provisioning,
billing and customer care
SAN DIEGO, CA, October 12, 2004 –
Rodopi Software, an industry leader in next generation
operations support system (OSS) and back office automation
software, announced today that the company has signed
an agreement with UNASAT Communications LLC to provide
Rodopi’s OSS software to integrate UNASAT’s
wholesale voice over IP (VoIP) with both terrestrial
and satellite broadband access networks.
Rodopi’ s 100 percent web-based
application will automate the DOCSIS-based provisioning
of UNASAT’s broadband satellite ground systems
and Class 4/5 VoIP services. End users will be able
to subscribe to services and manage their accounts through
a branded web portal, with flow through activation,
automated billing, and web based care and self care.
UNASAT will offer the Rodopi ASP functionality to its
network of CLEC, ILEC, ISP, and enterprise resellers
to enable them to offer fully automated, integrated
bundles of advanced services with minimal capital investment
and implementation effort.
