AvidNewMedia Enters VPS Market [May 25, 2005]

Shortly before the completion of AvidNewMedia's complete service & site renovations, AvidNewMedia announces that they will enter the VPS market with the launch of their new website.

"We feel that it could not be a better time to do it." said Co-President Mark Klink.

Klink went further, to say, "VPS (Virtual Private Server) solutions are in high demand right now. They provide a step up from a our reseller services, without the cost of a dedicated server."

AvidNewMedia has been in the Shared and Reseller services arena since mid 2000. "This will be a big addition to our offering" said Klink.

The announcement of the new AvidNewMedia VPS services comes just before the launch of AvidNewMedia's new site and service launch, dubbed "Resurrection."

According to Klink, the nickname "Resurrection" came from the fact that they have completely rebuilt their services from the ground up, emerging from the "same ol' hosting" into a new generation of hosting services. "AvidNewMedia must evolve, and that is something we strive for everyday." said Klink.

While there has been no solid ETA on the VPS services, nor the launch of the new AvidNewMedia website and services, Klink stated "The VPS services are already in place at this time, and we are awaiting the completion of the ANM website, and some core feature completion of new proprietary software that will power the client's entire experience with AvidNewMedia."
